It comes with heavy heart that due to rising health concerns over COVID-19, at recommendation of Boise State University, the 2020 ASCE Idaho Civil Engineering Conference has been cancelled. The SIS Board is working to reschedule the conference at a later date. Tickets and sponsorships will be honored for the new conference date.
Project of the Year and Engineer of the Year Awards will be announced soon and presented at a late date.
This two day conference is the largest event held by the Southern Idaho Section (SIS) of ASCE. Civil Engineers from all disciplines, public and private sector, and students and faculty from Idaho and the surrounding states will be in attendance. The conference will feature technical sessions and presentations for every discipline of Civil Engineering as well as the Annual Outstanding Civil Engineering Awards Banquet. This conference is an excellent opportunity to discover new technical knowledge, hear about interesting case studies on projects where you live and work, network with other Civil Engineers, and visit with vendors and learn about their cutting edge products and services.
The annual SIS Outstanding Civil Engineering Awards Banquet will take place during the conference at Boise State.
Back by popular demand, ASCE Casino Night! Happy hour will take place before the banquet and consist of beverages (cash bar) and fun casino games including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and more! This is the premier Idaho Civil Engineering event of the year and you don't want to miss it!
Check back regularly for updates and see below for last years conference program. If you have any questions, please email Lauren Nuxoll at email@example.com.
